Joe Cangolease
Joe has fifteen years experience
in life, and has a current GPA of 4.0. He
has been bow hunting for three years. Joe
started shooting 3D to improve his bow hunting skills, but now it seems like bow
hunting is something to do in the fall when all the sportsman’s clubs close
down in the fall. He would rather
shoot 3D than hunt.
He is a member of the IBO and ASA.
Joe usually practice's about five
days a week. He shoots 3D every
weekend regardless of the weather, as you can see in the photos .
His average score is 294 out of 300.
Joes best finishes have been:
3rd place – South Eastern Michigan Crown Jewel
Top 10 – IBO 3D Indoor World Championship in Cleveland, Ohio
6th at the 2001 Michigan IBO State Shoot
In the fall of 1999 he helped teach a beginning archery course.
This course taught basic form, good practice techniques, and different
types of equipment.
FUTURE
PLANS
Next year he plans on attending
the NFAA shooters school and becoming a NFAA certified instructor.
He will be teaching another beginning archery course too.
