Joan's goal is to be competitive at the highest levels of archery and introduce new archers to the sport. She has been a member of ASA since 1999.

Attending 15 shoots in 2000 Joan placed 1st. at two meets and 2nd at the Indy Shoot and Bow Hunter Expo in Louisville Kentucky.   Joan participates in the Lake Michigan  Archery Association's Indoor Target competition. With 3 meets completed in 2001, Joan has placed 1st, 2nd and 5th.
