Hiking Guide To Kansas by Catherine M. Hauber with maps by John W. Young (University Press of Kansas, 1999)  This book is an outstanding and comprehensive review of the hiking trails in Kansas.  It provides a detailed description of the trails, background information about the area, photos, maps of the trails and how to get to the trail.  The Kansas Trails Council contributed a substantial amount of money to assist with the production and publication costs of the book because of its merits. If you are interested in Kansas trails this is a book that you will want to add to your personal library and you will not be disappointed in any aspect of it. The Kansas Trails Council has copies of this book available for sale.
