Directions to the Trailhead

Take Kansas Hwy 10 (W 23rd Street which turns into Clinton Parkway west of Iowa Street) west from Lawrence to Douglas County 13. Turn right and then take the first left into Clinton State Park to access the eastern trailhead. Follow the road as it curves back to the south going past the Corps of Engineers Office to the first parking lot on the right. The trailhead is at the southwest corner of the parking lot near the tree line. For access to other trailheads, turn right on Douglas County 13, then turn left at the second corner and proceed to the tollbooth. A day use or annual permit is required to enter the State Park.
