The trail: Perry Lake Bike Trail is located on the west side of Perry lake in Perry State Park, half way between Topeka and Lawrence, Kansas. The trail was designed and built specifically for serious mountain biking. The trail consists of many hills, tight turns, off camber sections, fast trails and technical rocky sections. Currently there are 14 miles of single track trail and about 1 mile of old abandoned campground roads.
Camping: All types of camping are available in the State Park Campgrounds as well as in the Corps campgrounds located around the lake. Of course all vehicles not displaying an annual State Park permit must purchase a $5.00 single day use pass. Permits are available at the park office or at the trailhead.
