Kansas Arts Commision

Maria is a member of the Kansas Arts Commision Touring Roster, an adjucated listing of performers, in association with the Mid-America Touring Alliance. Presenters who qualify are eligible for one half of the performance fees for any given event.

Aside from culturally related perfomances, Maria also provides workshops on topics such as Folklore in the English and Scottish Balladsand Celtic Songs: fromOld World to New, and presentations on the poetry of Robert Burns.

In spring 2003, Maria recieved Kansas Arts Commission Fellowship Grant for her work on Kentigern - Saint Mungo of Scotland.
