My Widener/Halley Connection - Genealogy Pages

I became curious in my heritage after discovering some pages inside an old old bible that was inside an old cedar chest of my great grandmothers.  Naturally I started looking thru more stuff in the old chest and discovered newspaper clippings, articles, and old photographs (some extremely old) about people that were related to my great grandmother or my grandmother in some way. Little by little, I was able to put enough information together, combined with what I've learned from surviving distant family members and put it all into a genealogy program. I have found some of this information out on the internet where the names and dates were exactly the same as my info. which helped me to conclude positively that the information I have gathered is correct.  I have not taken any names and dates of my direct descendents from the internet.  The names and dates I have were on the pages taken from the bible and or clippings inside this family cedar chest. I have noticed however, that on a few websites, this information is thought to be incorrect. The discrepancies of the James Halley's and John Halley's is what I'm referring to.

Now with that in mind, I'm publishing what information I do have about my mothers, mothers side of the family.  When I have my mothers fathers side finished, and when I have my fathers side finished, they too will be posted here.  And any new info. pertaining to my mothers, mothers side will be updated and posted as it is made available.
